Supervision
I offer supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors and any practitioners working with young people, adults and families. I draw on my original training in integrative arts psychotherapy, as well as experiences of working in the fields of attachment, family work, abuse and trauma. My approach is pluralistic, flexible and creative and I aim to forge a strong working alliance with each supervisee. We can co-create a supervisory relationship that facilitates learning and growth, and enables the supervisee to be supported and challenged in their work.
I enjoy working with practitioners from a range of theoretical backgrounds. I can offer ‘training supervision’ for those who, in additional to clinical supervision, are wanting to learn more about working therapeutically with children, working therapeutically with the arts, and/or working in the field of therapeutic parenting/attachment.
I am very happy to work with pairs of practitioners to enhance the supervisory experience with peer discussion and co-learning, and also offer group supervision.
I am registered with Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education to offer supervision to students studying for their Diploma in Integrative Arts Psychotherapy.
Mentoring
I offer mentoring for workers in related fields such as social work or teaching, who wish to engage in therapeutic thinking and to have their practice supported by therapeutic models.
I am happy to work face-to-face, on the phone, or by skype.
